Peter MacKay to talk secrecy, accountability

Peter MacKay, Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, will be at Western Monday to speak about government secrecy and accountability.

Part of the Western Law Distinguished Speakers Series, MacKay will be speaking in Room 36 in the Faculty of Law beginning at 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

In the evening, MacKay will also take part in a roundtable discussion on Canada/U.S. Relations with students and faculty from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

The debate will be of former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s speech – who is in London the same evening at the John Labatt Centre (JLC) to discuss Canada/US relations.

This roundtable takes place at Robinson Hall (across from the JLC) beginning 8 p.m.
